College Admission: What We Offer
offers a College Admission Program that is designed to help high school graduates find the right college for their needs. There are currently over 4,000 colleges (two and four
institutions combined) in the United States and they can be found everywhere, from rural communities to large cities. These colleges have international students currently attending their schools and they understand that international students bring their culture and language and many other benefits to the overall school community.
JWB offers the College Admission Program because we believe that we can help students grow personally and professionally through education in the US.
Colleges in the US
Colleges in the US are known for:
- quality of facilities, resources, and faculty.
- high academic standards to maintain accreditation and certification of its offerings.
- its diversity of institutions, based on academic and social offerings and admissions requirements.
- affordability in obtaining a two year degree (associate’s degree), 4 year degree (bachelor’s degree) or graduate level degree from a college, including an excellent value for the money due to the wide range of tuition and living costs available.
College requirements
Colleges have many different requirements for their applicants. JWB can help with the long checklist of items needed to complete the college application. We take into consideration your needs, including the items below:
- location of schools in US.
- programs available (courses that are taken in common, leading to a degree in a specific area, i.e. business, engineering, nursing, etc.).
- how competitive is the admissions process and when is the best time to apply to college.
- cost to attend community college.
- housing options and student life (on campus dorms/apartments, off campus apartments, and rental housing).
- school application requirements (grades, English ability/testing, financial history, etc.).
- agreements between community colleges and 4 year institutions for transfer purposes and pursuing a 4 year degree (bachelor’s degree).
- on campus and off campus internships.
